2.) get a new motor installed for around 650$(this was like 4yrs ago). the reason its so much isn' the motor itself, those are like 100$. replacing a sunroof motor is so incredibly labor intensive and usually requires a lot of new wiring.
i would have all the fuses checked, and if its only open a little i wouldn't worry too much, the gutter systems on most sunroofs can take huge amounts of water.
