I've been doing this for awhile, its a very simple and effective trick, thanks to the Denon X1500, because its got the matrix input, I can have 2 channels play the same source but then but one of those channels threw the FX unit and have it delay the signal by half a beat, you then assign each channel to each side of the crossfader and bingo, love the mixer for this, its like having 3 turntables when you do as you can still use your other turntable thanks to the matrix system.
Also if you wanna get kinda nuts with it, you can delay the second channel by 1/4 3/4 1/1 and create some really good sounds with it.
