[left]Ben Lost is considered by many people to be one of the most exciting new talents in electronic dance music today. After spending many years as a singer and guitarist in various bands, Ben began his career in dance music in 1999. His love for the trancier side of house music had been defined two years earlier, introducing Ben to a more melodic yet funky side of club music. It was these influences which led Ben to join as head of A&R at Lost Language Records in 2001 with a view to developing the progressive trance offshoot. During his time with Lost Language, Ben has been responsible for the release of over 40 tracks, including releases from Solarstone, Tilt and Lustral to name a few.
Recently, Ben has also found great success with his own label imprint, Precinct Recordings, with hit releases from the likes of Luke Chable, Ozgur Can, Kosmas Epsilon, Luke Fair, and Nikola Gala. In the studio, Ben has just finished writing and singing songs for the new Ashtrax album, out now on Global Underground. As well, Ben's recent collaboration with The Young Parisians entitled 'Jump The Next Train', turned out to be one of this years most popular songs, which quickly became a fovorite among clubbers and was supported by the worlds biggest DJs.
