you expect to make a song in one week? actually...considering the mass whored commercial productions being canned out there...i think its entirely possible. all these never before seen up and comming producers...that might sound promissing...only turn out to be the same like everyone else.
ill give you one tip: use your god....damned.. imagination. make a sound thats original, that will blow people away, that doesnt sound like every other synth using in commercial trance, and a sound that comes straight from your brain, nearly original. im sure since your asking this, you probably cant produce anything, but in this business nowadays, all it takes is a wannabe to release a trance record...

first of all, use search if you want to create a specific type of sound, there's so much info on this forum already that you can probably figure it out with help frmo just the searchfunction.
secondly, dont expect any wonders the closest 6 months when it comes to creating tracks, you wont get your tracks to sound even close to professional within that time. If you want to create solid and professional music then be ready to put in many many many many maaaany hours into reason/fruityloops/cubase/logic/[put your favourite sequencer here] and then your tracks will start to sound at least listenable (although probably far from good or inovative)
basicly, it takes time...devotion...dedication and a whole lot of time
just thought I should warn you before you waste lots of your time just to realize you think it's utterly boring

Why don't you fuck up.
The guy is only asking a question. Why do you have to get on like a first class C_unt? If you don't know the answer then don't bother posting. Otherwise if you do help him out. I really don't think that this waranted a reply like that.
This site is full of cock heads like you who delight in shit stirring and flaming.
In response to the question, I don't have reason, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people here who could help you.

right?
He isn't asking how to make a song in a week, dickhead, he is asking how to make a trance sound. But I agree with a lot of your points.

fuck up? haven’t heard that since high school.. thank you for that nostalgic reminder of my youth..
your reply was as worthless as mine..
now.. to educate you child. He asked how to make tranzy sounds in a week.. pointless pathetic I want to be an instant rock star.. some smart arse remark to bring him/her back down to earth and face reality that it takes time to learn anything in this world is what I felt was needed.. and who am I to say? Nobody.. but I’m going to say it anyways
So forgive me you C_unt (or c*nt, or C&^T or C*&@^?) but that’s my right to do so
Have a nice day

I'm a pacifist but I have to say, acell's reply and everybody else's was suitable. If a person has the computer knowledge to figure out how to register an account into a website, he's smart enough to look up and say: "Hmmm, search...let me try that...being this a trance website, I'm dead sure my question has ben asked (and answered) many many times before.

You are totally right about that...but still, see this scenario from another viewpoint.

ok, then why in gods name are you posting then when you don't even have reason yourself?
I see that you haven't been around for very long in this part of the forum. Let me explain why the atmosphere is like this.
From the beginning (that's a very long time ago) this part of the forums were wonderfull. Everyone was nice, helpfull and there were lots of great info to learn frmo here.
But suddenly producing trance was something everyone wanted to do so they downloaded reason because they wanted to become the "next star over a night".
But of course it isn't that easy, when they started the program they realized they didn't understand a jack shit. "ohh my, what to do now?"
so they came here askin, and that's fine. But people are so fucking lazy that they don't care if they see that the latest thread is called "How do I create that Superstrings supersaw sound", they still go on and ask the same question. Do you know how frustrating it is when people fuck up a very good source of information by askin the same worthless questions over and over again? Well I guess not since youre bitchin with us right now.
But then again your'e probably one of "them" who's to lazy to
USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION
