I don't shave/wax my chest. Think I did my chest a long time ago, with razor, and didn't break out.
Have fun in the DR! I was there three weeks ago. Watch for hustlas!

I dont got too much hair on my chest but I tried waxing the minute amount of hair a number of years back & did break out some. Dont try Nair nair. I burned the shit outa my chest & balls. I was fucking crying in the shower.

well well well...
no but good question. i don't think breaking out should be a problem...i guess you might be a little red depending on how much hair you got to remove...but i suppose the only reason you would break out would be because of an allergy to the stuff you are using to remove it...

I shaved my stomach last year and got razor burn probably the first 3 weeks, but it eventually goes away. Started shaving my chest now this year and after 2 weeks I still have a little razor burn. So if you're only doing it for the Dominican and have sensitive skin, don't bother.

It's inevitable. The ingrown hairs show out badly on a white chest. But theyll disappear after a week or so.
Are you removing the nipple hair to impress the lovely ladies?

Why not test a little bit and see how that goes? A man with a smooth chest is oh so sexual.

OMG, this thread needs advice from a girl who waxes.
You won't get ZITS from waxing..but you WILL get INGROWN HAIRS. The way to prevent them after waxing is to exfoliate your skin everyday in the shower. I recommened exfoliating gloves. You can buy them cheap at Walmart in the cosmetics section.
A good alternative to waxing is Nair. Just be sure to follow the directions.

Oh, and for God's sake Eric, if you're going to get it waxed, get it done professionally at a salon/esthetician. It'll cost more than doing it yourself...but they're professionals for a reason. Plus it's usually smokin' babes that work at those places.
