Good Trance Sound!

I'm using reason 3.0 and cubase sx. I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a solid trance sound in reason and if anyone has vsts for cubase sx. Cheers!

download the refill pack call "trance uber good refill" It contains various patches for the nnxt, subtractor, maelstrom, combinator etc that sounds better that most VA's virus/nord etc... Then download the template called " Arrange me trance" and just fit the sounds in accordingly to give it your unigue "professional trance sound". Then export the final master any two track editor and load your favorite comp/limiter for the most part its the "waves l3" Then smash your sounds to the point there are no dynamics left and all you have is a loud blob of sound... Title the track accordingly (sunrise, ibiza, sky something etc). Add some cheese vocals recorded through a cheap mic and pre sm57 works great for this.. And title it the vocal mix...

Lets sum this up

"trance uber good" refill
"Arrange me trance" template
"l3 compresser"
"title"
"vocal"

Thats the "pro trance sound"

If that doesnt work.. Read all the FAQ's you can and help files etc. Then put like 4hrs a day into production for the next 6 months and you will have a semi-pro sound...

Well booster not everyone can start off as a genius. Like yourself everybody has 2 start somewhere and i've been making funky house the past few months just want to move on to less commercial more underground trance.

kane, the reason he replied to you like that is because EVERYDAY, there
is somebody asking the same question...not reading the newbie thread which tells you what to look for before starting to ask questions. Pretty much anything you can think of, it's been asked here already and there's numerous threads about it. Search up!

nothing much new in reason 3.0 that wasnt there in 2.5 heck i dont even have reason installed on any my computers but from reading this question everyday i have a idea of the program and how to use it..

Again the only good advice is too work hard at it, get some piano lessons, and work hard..
