We like to have a certain kind of ambience, and we feel that the music really adds to that.” And while some believe the bylaw is too strict, others look forward to its possible implementation. “When I come home and I'm having dinner on my deck, I don't want to hear ten lawn mowers going at the same time,” argues another home owner. Oakville residents will have a chance to voice their opinions in the fall before council votes on the bylaw in October.

Watch some idiot is going to call the cops because kids are playing in the park. Im telling you its going to happen.

When i heard about this a week ago, i was an interview with a kid on the news:

"but where will i play" is all the little girl said.

I've had nothing but bad experiences in that town

dont think laws like this will be limited to oakville.

Its seriously time to move... ive been looking into dutch citizenship all week. Second route could be british. Either way this place is sadly way too F*cked up for me to stay here any longer. It will be years before i can do anything though but its certain that i wont be raising a family here.

well lets not speak too soon i guess, it hasnt been passed yet, and hopefully it wont get passed. otherwise im making it my mission to go once a week to Oakville, and just start running around screaming from 7pm-7am.

but the funny thing is, i actually feel bad for cops because of laws like this. They have to uphold something they dont believe in.

well this law just tops off the endless stupidity that is constantly rammed down our throats here...
