no thanks, I wouldn't even grace his site with a hit...he's a fuckin' lunatic.
I did read this week that he was essentially advocating the assassination of a foreign head of state.
I'm all for free speech and all that...but I wouldn't shed a tear if someone assissinated him, lol...then they can take out Bill O'Reilly...then the people behind Fox news.
The world would be a better place |
Actually, it's a website making fun of him, that a friend just sent to me. I almost died laughing, especially reading all the angry Emails sent to them. So I thought I'd share it with everyone.
I think it's a good thing he opened his mouth one too many times, because now alot of people are beginning to see the real danger of mixing religion & politics ( though I don't know why it took so long ).
I agree he's a lunatic. No real Christian would advocate assassinating the leader of a foreign country. Unfortunately, the U.S. has a stupid president that listens to him and his followers. Heres some quotes from Pat Robertson that were in an article about his dying empire in lastnights local paper.
"The feminist agenda...is about a socialist, anti family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians". - From a Christian Coalition fundraising letter issued in July 1992
"Gods pattern is for men to be the leaders, both in the church and in the family...Women should listen and learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority." - From his 2003 book "Bring it on"
I agree with what you said about Fox. Actually in 1997 Pat Robertson sold his International Family Entertainment to Fox Kids Worldwide for 1.9 billion. I don't even think Jimmy Baker had that much money.

I think Pat Robertson tried to rewrite the bible. Jesus helped the poor, and if Jesus was alive today, I definately don't think he would help a president that gives welfare to corporate billionares.

lol...ok, I'll check it out then...I didn't realize it was a parody site
I just wouldn't visit his own site...people post sites like his, or sites like "godhates_____.com", etc...and people go to them, click on links, sponsors, etc....that generates revenue for them...not a good thing!
Of course clowns like Pat say shit like that for attention too...who knows if he even really feels that way...who cares too. |
I agree, I can't believe people are stupid enough to watch his show.
He's just some "Failed to Win the 1988 Republican Presidential Nomination" failed polititian who just won't disappear. He is definately motivated by power & money, and not his faith.

Normally I wouldn't respond to a post like this, especially considering you are Venezuelan. However, I'd like to debate the points you make. Chávez and his policies interest me and I've followed him for a few years.

If by stealing you mean bringing money back into Venezuela, then you would be correct. Restructuring PDVSA, the state oil company, to keep a more watchful eye on where royalties for drilling rights and joint ventures with outside companies was a smart move in my opinion. This restructuring has pumped hundreds of millions of dollars back into the public purse. This in turn has supported many of Mr. Chávez's social programs (Mission Sucre, Mission Robinson, and Barrio Adentro), focused to help the poor. I'm sure you are aware, being a citizen of Venezuela, the poor have long been ignored. With such vast resources, every person in your beautiful country should be able to have a good life.
It leaves one wondering: Where did all this money go before it went back to the people?
| quote: | | there is no way to get this guy out the power, venezuelan people had tryed election, referendum and everything but this corruct guy always cheat and win... so what is the solution ???to kill (el hijo de puta) |
According to the BBC, nearly 72 percent of Venezuelan voters support President Hugo Chávez. Killing anyone, let alone a leader who has the support of his people, is unchristian and barbaric. I really cannot understand how anyone could support such an act.
