you want a story, here it is. its really basic

summer of '03, a couple of friends and i went down to rosarito beach for a day trip. we went into the rock & roll bar for a few drinks. a "few drinks" didnt happen. for those of you who know how forceful the servers could be, they just walk by blow some whistles and pour tequila down your throat. after, they name a price and you have to pay. we ended up pretty hammered and grabbed our beers and walked out. the law of "no open alcoholic beverages" didnt skim through our mind until 5 federales waiting outside reminded us. i already know what was going to happpen and what they wanted so they escorted us to a back alley. they did the whole guilt trip thing of saying how we will go to jail if we didnt ::wink, wink:: bullshit. i was used to this, but this time 5 federales and paying each of them $100 was outta our league. so fuck it, we laughed, and said mexican jail it is!!! all 3 of us got handcuffed, took us in a paddywagon along with other americans. hahaha. the police station wasnt modern at all. there was no A/C, and fans blowing everywhere. still, it baked about 90 degrees in there. we filled out some citation forms, emptied our belongings and GET THIS: they took away our shoe laces so we wont kill ourselves and each other HAHAHAHAAHAH!!!! in a jail cell the size of a small hotel room, there were about 8 americans in there, and 3 locals mostly for the same reason. either being too drunk or petty theft. there was a toilet, sink, but no place to sleep, you would have to huddle somewhere. we werent given food, just water for the whole night. we were waken up by a guard outside the next morning, got our shit back with some missing cash and took off. GOOD TIMES!!!

Dude... it's a jail not the Ritz!!!!! You should've known better than to walk out with an open beer container. Mexican cops are less tolerant and they will take you in for breaking the most insignificant of laws. That's why you gotta be careful. Brives are almost necessary if you don't want to get locked up.

As far as the bartenders go... Dude, they only pour drinks on you if YOUR Friends told them to, or you let them do it! Otherwise you seemed like an easy target for them.

I never had any problems in Mexico... Mexico can be a lot of fun if you know what's up!

BAS... Fatty mexican food is the best!
