nope... the Mystery are totally different ppl. Rank 1 themselves have verified that that is not one of their aliases.. i also remember hearing them commenting regarding that tune but its very vague in my mind so i will say nothing further

From what i remember they said that they thought the track was a massive rip off of Rank 1 - Airwave and that they werent happy bout it.

Well on my import which has the original and guitar mix on it, on the barcode sticker it says RANK 1 production

I got the vinyl from Inferno and it doesn't say who Mystery are, just Above and Beyond.

Supposedly this was just a sticker added by companies like Juno to try and flog a few more copies of the tune ...

what the hell, from what i remember hearing, the mystery is rank 1, and if you dont believe that, go listen to the tune, it has the same samples, i think they are denying it cuz the artist name is mystery, hence, they dont want you to know who it is, but they gave it away with the tune

Dude, that doesn't make sense... why would one take the time to create a song, and then deny that they made it after its released? Plus, saying that it's Rank 1, just because it sounds like Rank 1, doesn't hold water. How many Ferry Corsten rip-off's have we heard over the years? An example: have you ever heard George Acosta-Emotions (Original Mix)? Judging by its extreme similarity in beats, synths and melody to "Out of the Blue" one might think it's System F, but its not... Ferry had nothing to do with it. Ripoffs happen every day and "the mystery" is just another on the list.
