Track 1:
Dreamy.. nice intro.. getting into this mix..
I think ive heard this tune before, armin? something like that...
As borat would say, It is nice!
Track 2:
Mix into track 2 starts nice... some hi hats.. its melting..
very nice.. the rhythmic elements slowwwwly coming in.. tis a nice lots mix.. you almost lost it at about 1:25-10:30.. but no. you overcome!
lovin how the vocals come in so smoothly.
The bassline is great..
The his seem a lil lower on this track...Quality issue? Dunno.
Track 3:
Oo drums.
I love mixing drummy tunes. Tres fun!
19:54. didnt like how it cut off. i can still hear the basslin from the other tune all muffled.. good though.
Some would say the "atmosphere" was lost a little, i think the opposite. tracks like these bring da noise! bangers in a club!
That bass synth is dirrrty!
Oh and the claps! <3
Track 4:
24:37 biit shifty.. still a decent mix..mix of cancelling on the bass freqs.
25:24.. :s more canceling.
ohh wait. i like how that bass comes in. "pimp"
good track. did you use effects on it at all? some doubling? maybe? around 27:00?
OOO..28:44 looooooove this sound in a club!
This is a club track.
Fuck. my reviews are better when the mix sucks.. , your loss!
Track 5:
32:14.. love these types of sounds. i started clubbing to this stuff! fuck what a bassline!
Chopped vocally bits at before and after 33:45 are nice.
That melodic bit in the breakdown is a nice change.. more effects used?
btw i like the effects, just wondering if they are effects
Track 6: i think? I dont know where i am. this is a good thing.
We are at 47:00. ooook!
I didnt like the kicks at 47:39 when the new track come in.
.. ok. were chillin out a bit.. some man yelling at me..
SPARE ME!!! SPARE MEEEEEEEEE!!!!
glad to see some people still like drums.
Track 7:(52:30, i dont know if its track seven.. nooblol)
chillin again.. ok ok...
more drums...
this track feels a lil low on the levels.. oo.. enegry comes with the bass..
Thsi is a lil tooooo much drums in a row for me.. but its working with the mix..
Lol reading about ur mix.. u are using effects.. on ur mixer.. but its mixed on cpu? i am le confused.
I may be coming to TO next year, are you in toronto?
Ok.. more drums...
Track 8:58:45
Not liking this mix.. lil too shifty...
getting a lil bored by this track.. would like something with some .. BAMN... tis is a lil dreary..
Track 9:1:03:57
Ok.. got something here.. some flavor... dont like the mixx too much, dont like how the bass comes in.. but its still good..
i want some more energy tho! and this track lacks "punch"
Im being reminded of when i saw Fortier like a year ago... feck man. slap me in the face with a tune now! or ill just go buy another bottle of vodka...
Track 10:1:10:00 Further. oo, i am on track.
Dont like how the bass comes in a 1:10:12.. but this track may be a nice change..
seems low still.. punch lacking..
tra la la laaaa
teh guitar is nice..at 1:12:15 ish..
Track 11:1:16:00
Booooo no punch!
If i was clubbing id be mad at you. right now im chillin in my house gonna go to bed soon, so ur ok.
gimme FIRE!
smooth tune tho...
i like the highs at 1:20:00
Track 12:1:23:48
Ooo. bassthankx
i like the melodyish thingiemebob.
1:33:48.. love the doubled kick right there!
ur mixers exeffects box adds a bit of a "t" smallll click with this effect.. bugs me on a home system.
i like this tune.. has an older tune vibe. i think? me likes.
however, a tune like this could be faster. thats one thing you should maybe have done.. is upped the tempo throughout the mix.. if you did this, it wasnt noticable, which is good and bad, but i think this tune should be played faster, whether or not the actual tune is faster or slower is irrelevant to me
Track 13:1:42:00 ish
last tune.. only a good thing because i have some shit to get done.
K.. likin it, likin the kick at 1:42:20ish..
This tune could be faster as well. maybe. maybe im a freak and am too used to psytrance parties ....
Solid hihats.
LOVIN THE PART AT 1:44:11!! boom! the way it comes back in! Dope.
Boo. it cuts ooffffffffffffffff.
I think i missed a tune in there. Im not sure. i was just listening....
Anyways..
overall, well done.
I didnt like parts of the middle, you almost lost me.. and it kinda dragged on a bit.. but overall well done.

really like deeper than deep, crackin tune!!!
anyway, technicaly the mix was well performed! needless to say all the mixng was excelent and as for the effects ... where i heard a few of your effects, but the rest, well i couldnt really work out whether it was just the track or you! which was excellent, i suppose it helped that i didnt know any of the tracks from this mix. but that just made it a much more interesting listen.
the single most thing which really impressed me with this mix was the "direction" in which it goes, and how it maintains its kinda energetic, pumpin rhythm throughout! if anyone ever needs a good example of a set which really takes you through a journey, so to speak, then id say this is the set that they should be listenin to. when it comes to set structure, this set really is textbook IMO!
i kinda got the impression that this set is really focused, you never seem to loose sight of what this set was meant to be! you never got sidetracked into anythin which didnt really suit the mix!
id give this about 8/10!
and i would mind hearin the rest of the 2 hours!

Highly doubt Armin played this. Its more or less a prog house tune although it is classified as progressive trance as well. I absolutely love it, giving me that euphoric feeling right at the start of a set always puts me in a good mood

The hiss? Very odd, since the first track was one of the MP3 files.

Absolutely LOVE this tune. Claps, tribal sounds, bassline.. truly a winner IMO and a great track to get things kicking after such a deep tune from track 2 19:54? What cut off? You would have heard the highs slowly blending in louder until 20:40 where it makes the transition to track 4.

24:37 is part of the song, I did not touch the EQ's there, especially the bassline. This track unfortunately was one of the MP3's so that could be why as the actual song has clipping at 25:05 with the small vocal.
25:24 cancelling of what? The way the bass sounds like its faded out is part of the song. When you hear it come in was when I was using my filters on all mid and highs.
No effects were used at 27:00. That is simply the song transitioning slowly over to track 5.

What can I say, this track has that deep dark dirty bassline with a trippy sort of vocal, horn and other indescribably good sound effects. Definately another favourite of this mix. I used the echo effect at 31:25 with the vocal, turned it off for a second.. then back on and then also put double flipping on as you will hear it change a bit. After I'm done writing these comments I will post a FULL thorough review of exactly where I started a transition, and where and what effects were used throughout the set.

Hehe, you definately missed an entire track, maybe two. How many drinks did you have? The rest of this review completely confused and lost me since the mix is only 80mins. How did you get to 1:44 by the end of the set?
Appreciate the thorough feedback but I am still dazed as to what parts you are reviewing after track 6. So what I will do is post a very very thorough critique of my set so you know exactly where effects were used, and were transitions took place and then we can go from there as to what parts you were referring to. From the looks of it though you liked exactly what I figured you would and then about 3/4 the way on I gave some breathing room for a few tracks and then got back at 'er to the heavier hittin choons. The VERY last track is where the set kicks into gear, and I KNEW you would love that track or atleast like it because of the hard hitthing bassline and highs. Overall I was not satisfied with the full 2 hours so I thought it was right to cut it at 80mins (and also to fit it on cd). As I stated in my first post, this was just me messing around, and some of the transitions I thought were perfect (ones were you skipped a song) BUT I was not 100% satisfied with the tracklisting. I plan to make another 2 hour mix with a finalized tracklist but I may just make it a 4 hour mix, last two hours going into the harder hitting progressive trance which is more my style. That being the case, I know you were expecting some heavy bassline tunes all the way through the set, but keep in mind this was just my warmup/opener
