Entry level digital mixing

I'm looking for some software to do some entry level basic mixing of songs, I'm tend to be a type of fast learner but if the program is way too complicated I'll give up right awat

I used to use ACID Pro to just do mix songs together but I wanna expand into "on the spot" mixing and more realistic stuff so I was recommended DJ Traktor Studio.

Anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks!

DssDJ is good because its just realy all you need to mix, its fairly cheap aswell.
Only problem is the new version they released is too unstable.

Pcdj Red v5.0
don't get the latest version. It makes your mp3's bigger in file size and you end up having to use a tag cleaning utility to get rid of the extra space. This is a redundant problem so you end up having to do this every time you load a song into the player, which is why the latest version sucks and 5.0 rules!

get yourself a Virtual DJ 3.2 + CDJ-100 skin so you can understand how it looks and works. real hardware simulation by means of graphics is a real tool to get used to industry standards like CDJ-100,1000, DJM-300 etc

Virtual DJ is good with a custom skin from their website. Also, make sure you set the keyboard shortcuts. There are a lot of functions that are not on display.
