Party Hat Bren-F - Panther (Original) [UPDATED]

Heya guys

Just thought I'd make one of my now seemingly bi-yearly offerings

[DD]Bren-F - Panther (Original Mix) UPDATED

192kbps
13.1MB
140bpm
9.32 mins

Something a bit different from me this time - this is more of a combinaton of little ideas I have had recently.
The result is a rather bizzare, yet energetic track with plenty of sinister synth sounds, haunting fx and a film score-esque breakdown.

This is an experimental track more than anything else, so feedback has been mixed so far (you will either love it or hate it )

As usual any critique is welcomed.

Regards,

Brendan

woohoo, long time i havent heard something from you

buildup sounds really powerful, energetic bassline and full percs. Really good production so far, can't fault it. 1:11, some driving acid sounds come in, really impressed by the drive.

at 2:13 you have like a double-kick playing, please fix that

nice string section, and good buildup afterwards.

the acid buildup at 4:20 is insane :P

can't say it's exactly the style i like listening to, but i was really impressed by the energy of the track. Great job on this one !

Jon

i agree.. would it be too much to upload a new version which fixes this? i think the track is awesome & would love to burn it to cd, just the distorted flange effect sounds really bad with the kick playing, like its part of a set and the dj is mixing badly. if you could duck out the kick for 2-3 beats around that point it would be muchly appreciated

hate to sound like an arse but the new version kinda distorts a bit in that low-pass... i think the flange effect sounded better, just the kick needed to drop before it came in, imo

but yeah.. up to you hehe ... i wouldn't be so picky if i didn't think the track was so awesome, i must've played it 6-7 times already!

Hi Bren,

Nice experimental use you've made of the acid-thingy in the beginning.
That string synth (the high one) should have the same delay/fx you used AFTER the break, cause I think it will do good there too. I Like the resonance-filtering after that part. Nice synth-melodies, totally feeling them at after the second break!
It's a very danceable track, keep up the good work

Sweet. Very tech-trancy. Always a fan of your work.

By the way, was Cyan Dawn ever signed? I want a copy of it
