well johnny there really is no polite way to tell a girl you want to like her for who she is and not just a lay ....

the best way (i would guess) would be just to talk to her in the hallways and stuff.... just act like a friend first. Let her get to know you, then make the moves. That's what i guess i would do.

Then again i am not the best person to ask, i haven't had to play the pursuer role in years!

i'm on holidays & haven't had much to do other than ask her out for dinner/movies/cafe/city/breakfast/lunch/art gallery/afternoon in the park/icecream etc.

just share some fun times have a good chat as often as you can & just enjoy each other's company

i totally agree with ABT, and i can relate to ABT as well....it's all about the confidence and how u carry yourself.....

just talk to her, if she's interested in a good way, she will be willing to get to know you back....if not, move on or try harder
