Phil K and Luke Chable have impressed me when I saw them solo. Phil K opening up for Sasha (I think) and Luke Chable opening up for Dave Seaman. Remember hearing Luke Chable was only so-so and he was amazing. Dave Seaman actually played a great set that night, but Luke's was still way better!
Still deciding if I'll go see them Friday night. Probably not as thing stands right now. Lots of variables as to why I don't think I'll be able to do it that night.
My only issue with Luke, and it was a big issue, is that he just looked pissed the whole night. Don't think he cracked even 1/2 a smile...heard he's just like that...which actually kinds of takes away from the experience.

He was havin a great time. (both of them pretty much)
Luke was downing coronas...Phil was fucking with the hot cues and busting little quick edits...both of them used reverse more than forward on the CDJs it seemed
It was a blast...and they played fucking sick dirty nasty music. Yikes.
It was hella fun. You should go.

That was badass! Phil K rocked it proper, but I think the show went to Luke Chable...he's just so funny. And when he gets drunk he doesn't blow the speakers
If only they had a Funktion One.....where's Robert
Thomas Schumacher - Heat It Up...siiick!

Yeah, Funktion - One in the would be amazing!!!.. Although the speakers they had last night were really good, just not tuned to that setup. The mixer was sending too strong a signal for the amp. They needed to set it up before hand, but I guess when you change the mixer on the fly you don't have that option.
