Bicycle Helmets manditory?
...just wondering...are bicycle helmets in Toronto manditory?
I've found all sorts of bicycling information but this question seems to elude my searching for some reason...

Regardless, I believe helmets should be worn. It only makes sense...

if mats sundin doesn't want to wear a visor why should he?
if lance armstrong is caught on the streets of toronto biking without a helmet, should he get fined?
i dont' think so. it is a personal choice. under 16 i understand why. make it 18 or 19 as well. but older than that, it should be personal choice. if you don't want to wear one, it's like ur signing a consent form that if anything happens, too bad!

with that logic all drugs should be legal and AK47s should be purchasable at walmart... most pros know how to use em but that doesn't mean you should protect the general public from it own stupidity.
I actually agree that if you want to be stupid you should allow yourself the opportunity to be taken out of the gene pool but I think there is a inate flaw in governments with that logic.

They should be for everybody - and if not worn, no medicaid for you.
