How to create trance BASSLINE like in the sample! - help+flp file needed

Hi there, I would like to have a similar bassline with those effects (like in the sample). Can someone help me and make sth like this and post a flp file on site?!

Here is a sample:

That's just your typical trance bassline. Good amount of delay, add some reverb, eq it with some top end for clarity and get rid of some of the low end so it just floats in the mix. Add some distortion if you want a unique sound or something and there you go. There was a thread awhile ago on trance basslines I believe.

Yes.. there is a thread on trance basslines every couple days.

I'm trying to get running basslines like this too.. how do you put delay on your bass without muddying it up? Depends on the way you play the bass I guess? or..

You have to add just the right amount and get rid of most of the delay in the low mids (300-900hz) and use a spectrum analyzer to see where the frequencies are making the mix muddy.

two ways to remove the bottom end on bassline delays...most delay units(hardware) have highpass filters that you can set to be used just in the delays not the original signal. The PSP Lexicon84 does this...the best software delay EVER..not to cheap though. Anyway the cheaper way and basically the same is to eq all the bass adn some mids(explained in above post) out of your bassline and pass that through some delays. then add that on top of your dry bassline.

You should also keep the two signals in there own frequency spectrum. whatever you shave off(eq wise) in your delayed version of the bassline keep your dry bassline the opposite. So if you cut from 30-300hrz from the delayed version keep the dry signal from 60-300. This type of bassline should be eqed more to teh mid range but I'm not gonna go off on that, I that was already explained. This bassline is very simple. Sounds harder than it really is. Getting the sound you want is the hardest part.

have fun.

I dont use Fruity...I use cubase SX 3. Honestly it is so easy man..like I said its just getting the sound right that is the biggest problem.

The delay seems to just muddy this bassline up .. Lows need to be taken out of the delay. This is the running kind of bassline ive been going for though so looking at the pattern was usefull.
