The Nemster is out of hiding again after having cut the top of one of his fingers off!
Got a new track on the go and thought I would share it with you.
This was inspired by a track written by Rich Gale called 'Manhunt (in Columbia)' or similar (forgive me Rich). I always wanted to write one of those 'siren' type tracks.
It's called California Jailbreak, and is just based on energy. I played this out yesterday and the response from the dancefloor was overwhelming.
Im really liking this track, love the bass, nice sounds, cant comment too much on production from the low bitrate, but nice work!

I like the sounds in this, very frantic. The bassline is excellent , higher bit-rate would be nice though

Thanks Firefly,
It does have some issues at the moment, perhaps a little messy on the high end at the moment and may yet need some panning etc. Gonna leave it for a few weeks though so I can attack it with fresh ears.
This is brilliant! It reminds me of some action-movie music soundtrack...either a supercool fighting scene(as it can be watched in matrix) or a tremendous car chase.
Wohoo, this will go well in my car I would appreaciate a higher bitrate version though.

Looks like I will have to oblige with a higher bit rate then folks.
Going for lunch now so will smack it up later.
very nice sounds you got in this track, I really the acid 303 goa synth. Everything seems to sit really well in the mix, but the overall sound quality of the track seems a bit poor (but this could be the bitrate, would be nice if you could upload a 2min sample in at least 192kbit) to see/hear the difference.

Hi!
I definitely dance to this! It has a lot of energi and the siren sounds nice. I just think its bin a bit monotonous after a while, but thats my opinion and I gues not yours .

hey karl.
im away from my main pc for the next few days so im on a pc with shite speakers..
ill hesitate to review balance and overall sound.
intro percs are nice. driving once the kick comes in. really good.
vocals arent sophisticated enough for the huge track you got imo.
i like the high techno chord sounds. they sound almost rave.
this sounds like a really original sound. full and driving. huge potential and im not surprised it took the roof off in your set.
psy influences ooze from it! but with the drive psy usually lacks.
this is massive. i can imagine sander van doorn playing this one for sure. ill make a dubby rmx i think. i cant wait!
id maybe do a version with more conventional structure. less of a breakbeat break. and a slightly more dj friendly outro.
do a version with less psy sweeps and efx and go more filthy!
actually. ill add some more filth when i do my rmx. this is pure nem and id leave it how you have made it. its like a crossover track. that would fit into a psy set or a techno set.
you have made another massive original piece. better production than 'dirt' but about the same originality. better overall.
do a jailbreak rmx of 'dirt'!!!!!!!!!!!!!
id like a 320 of this please mate! - to play after 'manhunt'-lol
