currently have the dn-x500 which is basically the same as the 900 minus the digital in or outs...which ever they are...solid mixer imo. good sound quality and faders are great...only complaint i have are the eq's are kinda small and sometimes a bitch to work with...*shrugs* still good though

I got the djm-3000. Its alright, but the faders are shiaate (2 have stopped working n the others bleed). dont know about the rotary version though. if I had a second choice i probably wouldnt have gone for this mixer.
too tired to write antyhing else

i know that in aus at least pioneer haven't sold the rotary for the 3000 in a couple of years, and they sold the last bundle very cheap to one store just to get rid of them. Pity i didn't find that out until i went looking for them some time later. I was hoping the curve on the rotary would be better than that of the faders, since that's the one thing that irks me on the 3000

the curve is whatever you want it to be, that's the beauty of rotary

you want a fast, sharp curve, turn it fast
want a long gradual curve, turn it slow
or any combination you feel you need
Not on the DJM-3000. I think that was his point. It doesn't follow a linear curve.
If you really want a rotary, you should save up some more cash. I would say an Empath Rotary at the minimum.

Im looking to buy either the dnx500 or 900 but where could i buy the rotary expansions? I live in aus but it would be cheap to ship from anywhere else in the world anyway.
