Review: Cor Fijneman & Mark Norman @ Viva (80 days around the world tour)
Nutso. I can't believe no one else has started a thread on this yet. I think my ears will be ringing for the next year or so, but I couldn't care less; banging tunes from start to end. Big respect to Mahan (m2j) and Carlos (Mobius) for you part in the DJ competetion, best of luck with the results.
To sum it up, I don't think I've ever heard Tech/Hard Trance sound so proper. These guys are perfect on Viva's sound system, it's like a Mac truck is just coming at you when they're spinning. If anyone had been to the last show back in July, they know how down to earth and cool Norman and Cor are. This time was no different; they were basically like TA's just chatting it up before their show.... quite classy.

Thanks bro, much appreciated.
Mobius won 1st place. He threw down a massive set! wicked build up through out, all the way to The Legacy
Cor Fijneman (8/10) pretty good. Started off mellow and picked it up near the end. I loved how he really got into music, thats what comin out to a club to see a dj perform is all about.
Mark Norman (8.5/10) fantastic set. A bit better than Cor's but that may have just been cause he was picking up from where Cor left off. Norman played some pumpin stuff... such as Touch Down!
Cor Fijneman + Mark Norman (20/10) holy crap. When these two guys play back to back, god damn, they're unstoppable. Tune after Tune, after Tune... I honestly don't remember not liking one song during the versus set. I wish they had played the whole night B2B.
Big thanks to Tyler and Ben for coming out early to catch my set. Really appreciate the support guy.

Was a kickass night. Cheers to all the TA's that made it out, as well as Cor and Norman, they were FUN FUN FUN! some serious tuneage. I have yet to check the recordings but im 95% sure I got all 3 hours at full quality and a good 10 min interview.
Show some of the TOTA what they missed.
As for music: tune of the night was Marco V - False Light. I was out on the Patio with Brian and a bunch of the other TA's I met that night and we ran in and yeah. lol.
ps. Public transit wasn;t tooooo bad. $20/cab to finch station, subway/bus home in 30 min (to danforth).
Ill get permission to relese the sets in a few days.
I had a lot of fun last night. Big respect to M2J & Pual E who threw down solid sets for the competition.
The rest of the night was, as Barry mentioned, Kickass!
Chiclet played a wicked opening set, and even threw in Rober Miles - Children towards the end of her set, which was a splendid surprise.
Cor & Mark Norman were insane! Solid tunes through the whole set, though I must admit I enjoyed Mark Norman's style a slight bit more.
Nice meeting Spaniard, Trancegrooves, M2J & FunkyFun
and as always a pleasure to party with LilkandiAngel, Stilez, Ampz and some old friends.

New decorations and tvs - respect.
Soundwise and lightwise i cant think of a better club. Such a fucking pleasure to be there.
Didn't stay for cor's and norman's versus set.
Pretty dissapointed with cor's set. The end was good enough, but at the beginning (for like 40 minutes) he just played pop music. I got really annoyed by that. 6/10
Norman's set was better. Still didnt like some tracks but overall it was pretty good. 7.5/10
Also have to say that chiclet or whoever played before cor, dropped a lot of shit but i remember that some tracks were banging.
Saw all the regular TAs. Danced till 4 30 and then got skethy and left. Got home at 8 40. Overall 6.5/10 for this night.

again, i apoligize to mahan and mobius for not being there and supporting the local TAs, but being sick just sucks
