when u have winamp on shuffle, have u ever noticed it pickin only certain type o tunes?

mine does... sometimes it gets in a hard mood where it picks nuthin but full on stompers like scot proj stuff and picotto.. and sometimes it picks out all the cool progressive stormy ones!

for example, im now listening to the 4th james holden production in a row, and YES it is on shuffle

Mine does that to! I found the only way to get a "actual" random play is to first suffle the play list then select shuffle on the winamp player bit.

thats how mine are now, in no order... its just gone from that 4th james holden tune, to max graham - shoreline, and back to james holden for eternity!

The "random" function is not actually quite that random.

It always plays more or less the same tunes in the same order.

I don't know why but my WinAmp ALWAYS starts to play the playlist with this one track by Deftones. Every fukken' time...

Winamp don't have moods but i sure do.........lolz. I always play it in the order that i want........random or shuffle is a seldom used button on my winamp.

yes i know what you mean its strange..
its good to pick the tunes you want to listen to but its more special when you leave it up to the shuffle mode n then it plays you an awesome mix of tunes

ya mine does that to...or sometimes it just doesnt play

WinAmp used to have a plugin called Mood Logic.

but I think the new versions might have it built in, that's proly whats doing it.

daaamn, i just noticed this yesterday, when out of 3200 tunes my winamp started picking out chillout trance, like chicane, holden's remix of saints' peace, solar stone's euphoria and other stuff.

sometimes it picks these bangin' tunes that you could find in tiesto's livesets and just keeps playing them until i get up and start dancing. weird!
