Atari - Asteroids - never really played atari all that much, with my being born in the 80's and all, but Asteroids is a game ive sunk some time into. a classic.

NES - Super Mario Bros. 3 - may be a bit of a cliche answer, but you cant get much better than this. I still remember my bday when I turned 4 and opening up a present containing this game. Probably equal to a baby on 5 double stacked E pills.

SNES - Final Fantasy III (US)/Final Fantasy VI (JP) - my favorite RPG of all time. This and Super Mario RPG are the only 2 RPG's I have ever taken the time to complete. I still remember just about everything about this game, considering Ive actually beaten it several times over. Although there are other SNES classics like ChronoTrigger, Mario RPG, Mario Kart, Mario World, etc., you cant go for anything better than this.

Sega Genesis - Herzog Zwei - one of the greatest strategy games of all time, and my favorite game on Sega's 16-bit wonder. Everything about this game worked unbelievably well. It would take me novels upon novels to explain all the concepts of this game, but Im just gonna hope you take my word. For all you strategy peeps out there, try and get your hands on this and give it a go. Fantastic.

Nintendo 64 - NBA Hang Time - easily the greatest of all NBA Jam related games, this game is quite honestly the most addictive video game Ive ever played. Maybe its because all my buddies and I are so good at it. Or maybe its because its that designated game we play after the ridiculous smoking sessions we have. Either way, Im proud to announce this game. Its hilarious, its frantic, its multiplayer, and there are certain glitches in the game that only make you laugh harder, rather than detract from the experience.

+1

What a fantastic game that was!!! Wish I could play it again, I wonder if it would still be as intriguing now.

i actually own the game still. I popped it into my dusty Genesis like 3 weeks ago...and this game STILL kicks ass! Once you got your reflexes down and your strategy all planned out, you can kick the computer's ass. Its all about the 2 player and playing against someone just as good as you. THEN its complete chaos.
