I'm having dinner/drinks last night with 7 co-workers at Champps Bar & Grill. It's fairly casual and we are all enjoying ourselves. This guy walks up to the table and asks if anyone would like a balloon animal (yeah, I don't know). Everyone looks around at each other and politely declines. Before I know it "Make me a bicycle!" pops out of my mouth. No one got the joke and the balloon man walked away kind of sadly.

How could 7 people in their mid 20's to mid 30's have not gotten that joke?!?!?

are you talking about those balloons that they can turn into shapes? and as for the joke, i am a little simpson slowed about that right now.

maybe because he said balloon animal and then you said you wanted a bicycle instead? yeah, my myelin isn't very rapid right now.

I know what myelin is what it's function is. Saying your 'myelin is slow' makes no sense.
