FL Studio Producer Edition XXL

OK, I honestly don't get why everyone is hating on FL studio. I admit the lower versions are crap and their presets are even worse, but has no one tried using the XXL producer edition. It takes FL's ease of use and combines it with some amazing synths & effects. They Sytrus plugin is absolutely amazing and is easily manipulatable.
Plus, the price range is very similar to other production apps (with exception of AbletonLive & Protools).

So PLEASE someone explain why FL is hated on so much!? Just because its easier to use doesn't mean its shit. After all, it is ALL about the music and how good it is. Great producers can make anything sound good on what ever they use, and shit producers will sound shit on anything, even if its Protools!

I cant remember reading anyone hating FL? But i dont think that sytrus is a argument for buying FL! I did try it once, but it didnt get to me, so im still stuck with Ableton, and i have sytrus as vst.

They should give it a more professional name if they want it to be taken seriously.

"FruityLoops" just sounds entry-level and shitty.

I guess that's why it's actually called FL Studio nowadays

To be honest, I haven't heard anyone rag on FL explicitly in a long time. True, people don't give it the credit that they give sequencers like Cubase and Logic, but then those ones actually deserve a bit more credit.

The only reason they deserve more credit is because they are the closest thing to an industry wide standard in this business. Pro Tools would take the top honour as pretty much every professional recording facility has some sort of Pro Tools rig.

If you do a production/recording course, they will teach you on (surprise surprise) Pro Tools and Cubase/Logic.

So Cubase/Logic get credit for being used by the most people in the most professional studio environments, at least on the DAW front. For workflow reasons thats a god send because you can ship your projects onto CD and work on a tune anywhere, anytime. You can't do that with FL Studio because it doesn't have industry wide acceptance - you can go to a recording studio and theres an even chance they wont have it. Shit luck I suppose...

i say as long as you got talent and can make your shit sound professional or decent then it shouldnt matter what you use i mean think about it are people gonna dance to what it was made on? or how good it sounds

plus ive seen tons of shitty trance productions made on thousand dollar studio stuff so really the only industry standard should be what you can work with i swear people worried about what other people use these days

AND FRUITY LOOPS SHOULD BE CONSIDERD INDUSTRY STANDARD!!!!!!

Hehe yeah, its funny to hear the reactions once listened and they ask which sequenser one use It's all a matter of taste, but I'm starting to include vocals into my tracks the upcoming year (not trance) so I am considering cubase = ouch for wallet But I dont know how well FL Studio works with vocal recording yet

Actually most people using FL love it... besides me I use it occasionally to write down ideas quickly. I love the pattern sequencing, but man do I hate the song sequencer....
