i was wondering what everyone goes to rave for?

personally i go for the dancing with friends & meeting new people and have fun
no matter what dj are spinning, as long as it's mainly trance
from the past 3 years' i've been attending raves
i've seen everything from fights, open drugs use, thugs, weirdos, etc
but i think as long as everyone are having fun
then i will be too, if everyone are standing around like zombie
it's just totally lame

I agree.. church socials are far more entertaining. Bust out some square dancing, or perhaps a good baptisim

i writed a song.

I go for the total disinhibition when compared to your typical club style events. I like the way you can dress however you want, dance however you want, consume whatever you want, not hesitating to do anything that you think might you might enjoy, withing safe limits of course. Having no security following you, no dress codes, random naked people walking around, people playing with fire, its fucking fantastic.

All you have to worry about is people taking embarrasing pictures of you and uploading them.

I've gotten kicked out of clubs for dancing like an idiot before, or turned away at the door for looking not cool enough(and I really dont dress that wildly, usually). I feel like "raves" (what is left of them, which is usually just the local forum kids at a house or a farm or something) are my sactuary from all the vanity bullshit we have to put up with in the clubs, everybody brings their toys and their firends and their music and we just go crazy the whole weekend until we cant handle any more.

i like not having to do lines in dirty club bathroom stalls...... so degrading.....


thats why i love my wemf.... no matter how cracked out you get... there is ALWAYS someone worse... dancing all night in the mud under the stars wins everytime
