ok... srsly...
I was running late, and left 20min. after Lexxwolfen, got there 5 minutes after she did. Averaged 140 along the 400, 407, and country roads, fortunately the highways were pretty clear as the return from cottage country hasn't begun yet.
The ranch was pretty large, with horses and ponies everywhere, ready to be mounted. We joined a large goup, however Sania and I split from the rest as we were more experienced and on a longer ride. We rode Western saddle.
My horse was a white steed by the name of Prince. He had a quiet disposition, loved to jog, but slow to gallup... lazy a bit, as he liked to take shortcuts. When he wanted to go, he wanted allright. I grew up riding English saddle growing up on my parent's cottage/farm in Vermont. I enjoyed riding, but turned into like piano lessons... you become good at it, but became 'meh', once forced to do it. But it was great to get back on after so long... it was like the saying 'riding a bike'. I'll remember to strech next time I go. My posterior is paying for it now.
For those who cound not make it last minute, you missed a TOTAlly great time. The weather was perfect! Clear, crisp, sunny and windless.
