Why you should vote today!!
If you worry about the following you need to vote today:
Crime, traffic, stupid parking laws, your favourite nightclub, transportation such as TTC, solving the homeless problem, property taxes (which also affect rent prices btw)
All these issues can be decided in part by YOU today by casting your vote. Go out and vote and vote wisely. Toronto is at a crucial crossroads. Many people don't realize how dire the city's situation is at the moment. This could be one of the most important elections Toronto has ever had. This is why YOU need to vote today so that you can steer the city in the direction you want it to go. The 2 main candidates couldnt be more different and thats a very good thing for democracy.

My theory - if you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain.

good, these people control our destiny. This is why we should try and control them as much as possible.
I cannot understand how a person decides not to vote when most of their lives is decided by these people.

Yeah let's build more subways, that's the solution!
She had so many screw-ups in the initial days of campaigning and half the time I watch her debates it seems she doesn't know what she's talking about.

I am astonished an election thread wasn't started a few days ago.
I'm voting today, because I feel I can't complain if I don't vote. There's some bozos in my town I want out, and some new ones I want in. I must speak my voice with my pencil tonight.
My municipal taxes have gone up by 50% in the last few years, and I am pissed, and will voice my opinion and desire for change tonight.
In Aurora, it's time to clean it up, and time for a ward system IMO.

It's pretty hard to distinguish between the platforms of the candidates in my ward. I essentially feel the net result will be the same regardless of who I vote for.
