As i said to seom else about trance midi files...
U're best bet is to do a search for it @ http://www.google.co.uk ... I found sites with tons of midi files for the likes of gouryella and robert miles once...

what i did is listen to the track, and duplicate it by hand. key by key, note by note.

I have just spent the last hour doing this and i think i have come up with the melody is FruityLoops

figuring things out by ear is not as hard as it seems.. recored the line you want to mimic and pop it into the program of choice, if things are going to fast then drop the loop down a octive (this cuts the tempo by 1/2 so set the sequencer tempo to 1/2 of what you had it at). then just go nuts till it all sounds right... most stuff is really easy to get onces you get your ears used to it!
