wtf, this was the 5th time seeing him er so and this night did not even sound anything like his other nights...and that is not meant to be in a good way.
Dj dan got out there and did the thing dj dan does, rocks it. some of them electro basslines and vocals. solid. Then eddie gets up there. He keeps playing them electro driven tracks, but with huge breakdowns. the thing that killed me was every song he'd kill the bass every other beat, right before a breakdown...so the song is dead. the dancefloor kinda cleared out and during the extended breakdowns you could heard a ton of conversations going on instead of cheering. I had to leave after he played for an hour, I thought maybe he would build it up, but alas, no buildup...no trance, no techno...nothing.
1 out of 5 isn't bad though. Im still gonna see him every chance I get, but if you are gonna see him after dj dan, beware, it wont be the same ol eddie.

You guys prob did give him any love, Eddie's one of those DJ's that feeds off the crowd and the people around him.
As long he's wired, he'll do some crazy shit, if he's bored, he'll play like he's bored.
lol, since you weren't there Ill let you in on what did happen. he came out to chants of Eddie, and everyone stayed up close dancing and screaming for about 15 - 20 mins...then it kinda emptied out.
He just wasn't on tonight.

Yeah you are right. it was annoying as hell when there's so many breakdowns and pauses. I gave up trying to dance to his set. I think i left 1 hr and 30 mins into his set. This was only my 2nd time seeing him. I was so impressed the first time when he played with Ferry at Ice that i had to go see him again. I hope it won't be a hit or miss everytime u go see him in the future and that this was only a rare off nite.

yea first 4 times I saw him he amazed me everytime. That last time at ice i was in the booth next to him for an hour dancin my ass off. But I blame dj dan, get him on tour with sander van doorn or some other trancelike dj and he will be back hopefully!
