Really liking "Foot in Mouth" right now, very creepy sounding, nice melodic progression - the breakdown is killer, and I could see it doing some serious damage on the dancefloor. This one will have my full support for quite some time, epic filthyness at its finest
"Pay Atttention" has a GREAT bassline, really addictive right off the bat - chugs along super nicely, but definitely isn't at all boring. The synth line/pads that come in add a really nice dynamic to the tune, and are perhaps a bit unexpected (I would have thought you'd take it in another direction), but that's what makes it so endearing to me. The breakdown is really reminiscent of some old, quality trancers.
"Rasashaton" is something completely different on this EP - it stands out as a tune that just has a different vibe to it than the rest of the release. The dark breakdown combined with the guitar line is very nice, and the build out of it (and the manner in which the guitar line is brought back in) is very nice - though of the EP, this is probably my least favorite tune, it's just a bit too epic for me and what I'm playing these days. I do like that there is a bit of tribal influence in this one though.
All in all, really a beautiful release - I'll definitely be hammering "Foot in Mouth" and "Pay Atttention" for a while, and I picked up "Rasashaton" just in case (I have a feeling this one will grow on me )
Great work from Mat Zo and another great release on Praesul
