Hey,
long time since I heard the last track from you..
Nice glitchwork in the beginning.
hi frequencies are very dominant on the percussion.
1:00 has some nice percussion work going on. Jex mentioned it: they are very detailed.
1:40 nice new synthline.
2:00 is trippy. I wonder how you created that soundscape.
Then a very weird melody, even for your standards this is extremely twisted Psy. The detuning every now and then is great!
One other thing I noticed, before I forget.. the kick seems to be too heavily compressed or somehow pushed away by the snare. Try to make the kick a more constant factor. It is a very hard kick already, I think a slightly softer version with a bit more balance in the mix would work better.
4:40 nice sample choice, I wonder what your sources are.
And were onto an even more crazy ending.
Sick stuff, I dig.
This is maybe your least accessible track but it features a lot of detail and funny elements to discover. Great work on this and the glitchy percussion parts and the detailed melodies.
One thing however I noticed about your mix, it seemed a little empty to me. Some of the elements are thinner than they actually should be. There seems to be some kind of gap in the lower mids which could be filled by a deep and dark background synth riff. I can not listen at full volume now (it is late at night here, the neighbours would kill me if I turned up more), so I might be wrong about the mix. But when I compare it to other tracks it still stands out as somehow thin. Maybe the minimalist approach is a nice experiment but it left me somehow longing for more.
