Umm, it's a tool you use as you see fit.
What if you had 2-3 tracks you want to play next, why not arrange them in key? It really DOES make a difference.

Considering there are almost NO EDM tracks in major keys, that really doesn't matter much, now does it?
This is basic music theory. Each major key has a relative minor and vice versa. The camelot wheel is nothing more than the circle of fifths arranged with numbers. C goes to G, because G is 7 half steps above C (the perfect 5th), and around the wheel you go until you come back full circle.
