I watched it like 4 times right now (cuz i have no life) and I heard someone say that it's a giant lion?? Anyone else hear that?

I was reading somewhere that the movie studio (I believe Paramount) wouldn't even acknowledge that it was their movie, let alone that a movie was even in creation.
It was only until the trailer from the transformer movie came out and someone put the trailer on Youtube that Paramount (I think) forced Youtube to dispose of the video for copyright infrigements.
Pretty crazy!

That rumour is from people thinking in the trailer that they person says "It's a lion!" but in reality he actually said "It's alive".
Abrams has also said that "Monstrous" is not the name of the movie. He's also said that his goal is for this new monster (and it is a new monster) movie is to give America their own 'Godzilla'. Not that the monster is Godzilla like, but in that it will be America's monster, in the same way Godzilla is Japan's monster.
