Aaron Russo Passed Away

Aaron Russo passed away today. (2/14/1943-8/24/07).
There is no official word yet, but his death was most likely caused by cancer, which he was battling for years now.
He was an early supporter of Ron Paul, and gave his full support to Ron Paul on 1/14/07.
Russo's most recent achievement was the documentary America: Freedom to Fascism, which exposed the IRS controversy to the general public.

If you want to watch his documentary, that he made available to the public on Google, click here.
According to this article, on his headstone Russo wanted: "I want it to say, 'Freedom Fighter."
His website, www.restoretherepublic.com has been updated with a quick memorial. There are very few details, and 1 quote: "You changed America with your presence, you have awoken millions to the truth, we will finish the game."
Saw this on another blog, thought it was worth mentioning
In our last telephone conversation, Aaron told me he’d kick my butt if I didn’t do what I could to ensure Ron Paul is the next president of the United States. This was his style. While some have viewed his rough-appearing exterior in a negative manner, those of us who knew him realized what a Teddy Bear he truly is. For those who aren’t aware, Aaron has a long history with Congressman Paul. |
