Holy**** apple does it again!!! $100 bucks back

Steve Jobs posted an open letter to iPhone owners today after the uproar over the $200 discount on the iPhone that was announced on Wednesday.

Jobs defends the price drop but acknowledges the need to take care of early customers:
... even though we are making the right decision to lower the price of iPhone, and even though the technology road is bumpy, we need to do a better job taking care of our early iPhone customers as we aggressively go after new ones with a lower price. Our early customers trusted us, and we must live up to that trust with our actions in moments like these.


As a result, Apple will be offering every iPhone customer a $100 store credit towards the purchase of any product at an Apple Retail store or Online Store.

Details will be posted next week.

hey dude i have ps3 and sony owns Apple...I had a 40gb crap from apple and the battery blew on it they made me pay 100$ for a new battery...Wake up buddy apple suks
