Nic chagall - what you need

After listening to Armins ASOT 2007. i only liked 2 songs. Light the Skies and Carry me away. after listening to the CD i grew to it and well damn almost every song is amazing except 2.

What you need's break down really stuck out to me as one of my favorite breakdowns of all time. I diddnt like the first 1:30 of it though.

after scouring around i found the original version and wow.. i thought hard dub was good, this is better!

What do you guys think? i never heard of Nic Chagall until really tonight.

Well thats sad, i think its amazing.

I wonder if their reasons are legitimate other than if one person doesnt, another follows.

Dude, judging by your avatar you seem to be on the right path to quality music, why go backwards?

Since there is a thread about it, why not? I dont want to come across as too much of a hater but I really don't like this song. It's not Anthem bad but it's pretty bad.

It's kind of slow and it's got such a looong breakdown, "trance" like that is kind of irritating to me anyways because I just can't see myself DJing or dancing to a song with a fuckin 2 minute pause in the middle of the track like that. (Unless its Aftermath or something)

It's actually the vocals though that annoy me the most. Really whiny male vocals with meaningless lyrics. Can you honestly tell me what the song is about? As a radio-friendly vocal poppish rock-influenced dance track, I have no problem with it. The melody is actually pretty nice.

I thought trance was banging repetitive music that was supposed to take you on a journey. This just sounds like something that people can sway their arms to when armin plays it. Which is probably tons of fun on a packed dance floor, but just not really the type of trance music I like to listen to. By the way I really like some of the older cosmic gate stuff.
