Hey just wondering, is there an original version of this track? I've never come across anything labelled Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (original mix). Is the 'original 3 n 1 mix' the original?
Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm a relative n00b

I read differently to that, Kid Paul wrote somewhere that him and cosmic baby just had there own mixs of it... at least i was pretty sure that was the case...

hmm you may be right.. well hopefully Grimreaper sees this thread and sorts it out
Yeh an "original" version was indeed sent to me on tape about 14 years ago from a guy who was supposed to be Cosmic Baby himself and that the version was one prior to Kid Paul Mix and Cosmic Baby's Impression but in the end i found out it was all just fake, the guy was just some ****** having a laugh at me and i had been pwned massively. The "original" was just some amateur version based on the Kid Paul Mix. Ahh the glory days of youth and ignorance...
So, there are 2 original mixes of this track, both from 1993:
Cosmic Baby's Impression (6:42)
Kid Paul Mix (7:18)
Kid Paul also remixed the track and his remix is called Peace Mix (7:12). Three 'n One Remix came out in 1997 along with Solar Stone and Oliver Lieb/Ivan Mixes.

I didn't, until i managed to contact the real Cosmic Baby thru some people i knew at Sony (label) in 2004 or 2005, can't remember anymore, and explained to me there really wasn't any version in existence called "original mix" and never was.
For years and years i had believed, with a little doubt in mind, there was an original version but which never got released. Just didn't have any good reason not to believe so until i was told otherwise by the real thing.
