Anyone here ever play Clive Barker's Undying?
If not, I dont recommend that you play it by yourself, at night, with headphones on, it's really really creepy...
This and that pathetic attempt at a game 'The Blair Witch Project' are so damn eerie.
Any other scary games out there I should be aware of?
Undying is an FPS using, I think, the Unreal engine.
Some interesting aspects of the game too, you can use magic as well as weapons... at the same time

Resident Evil for Gamecube scared the SHIT out of me on the weekend. I was going to pour kerosene on the zombie to burn him (cause if you don't they turn into an evil version of a zombie known as a Crimson Head) and the thing started getting up and attacked me! That was unexpected.

I havent played any of those games (apart from Resident Evil).. but i gotta say, Half-Life on Hard, at 3am in the morning, headphones blasting is a pretty freaky experience. But the scariest game i've played during one of those 4am sessions.. SYSTEM SHOCK 2.. holy crap,that game was awesome, scared the shite out of me, but kept me hooked at the same time I cant wait for Half-life 2

There's two scary computer games that come to mind..
System Shock 2 (first person RPG)
Unreal (FPS)
IN Unreal there's that moment early in the game where you're in some alien building. All of a sudden the lights go off and the music goes insane. You start hearing something wandering around and then the lights start flickering and you can vaguely see it. It starts attacking you and you just freak out. So good! I never played the game again after that...

There are some good old fashioned "in ur face" moments in half life, when u r crawling down a ventialtion thing, and your torch runs out, then sudden;y a crab jumps into your face from no where,I jumped out of my seat loadsa times!
A game that scared the bejesus out of me!
I beat the first one too, the third one is in the making along with the movie
