Any idea guys why these glorified uplifting trance producers are gone such whimps in their productions....Does it mean the more famous you get, the more commercial you get....I think these two producers need to know where they started and what inspired them initially.
Tiesto's remix for britany spears is absolutely awfull.
How long more till Armin joins these two ?
Lets hear some views ?

I was thinking the same thing.
Its a marketing thing, Tiesto, Ferry and Armin used to make loads of music using different aliases. But as you all have noticed, they all ended up using one name.
Tiesto has always been trapping in the footsteps of Oakenfold, hence he is also remixing shitloads of commercial tunes. (i guess he lacks the knowledge and interest in making music for movies though) I dont mind the tunes at all though, as long as they sound good.
Also, is common human behaviour to always crave for more, thats is why none of these can never be famous enough.

Good point. Plus, in all reality, these guys peak and it's all downhill from there. They can never earn back their status as it once was. I am not sure if people just get tired of their style or it's just that their creativity is spent...

its all about the money once they hit the big time.
i remember an interview pvd did and he was bashing all the cheesy people for making trance unpopular. now he's jumped on their bandwagon. i think they do it to break america to be honest. solid deep trance doesnt stand a chance in america as its not commercial so these big artists throw in a cheesy vocal and few cheesy riffs and the americans love them.

On the other hand, with all the extensive touring they don't have nearly as much time to produce as they used to either.

Tiesto doesn't write any of his own songs. PVD I would think so. Tiesto tours way too much to be putting out all of that nonsense.

Who writes them then? The magical fairy people from behind the fridge?
Fuck some people are dense
At least Tiesto still makes pretty good tracks. PVD has been making rubbish and Armin hasn't had an even decent release in a couple of years.
