IVE just come back from melbourne i feel so tired.. yet i cannot sleep....... *im "always" straight as well*


his melbourne gig rocked it soo much more than sydney, the night before @ home...dont know why, the atmosphere and the setting...HOME was amazing too. very intimate, a 'clib gig'....

....... he played EVERYTHING i wanted to hear....he was amazing, and brilliant as usual....just inspiring to watch and hear...

That was awesome!!! So much good music all through the night! I had read that Paul van Dyk was playing a few harder tracks and I loved it! It was thumping hard nearly the whole set! And he played 'For An Angel' at the end too!! No encore though lol Sean Quinn came on after Paul and there was all these boos and jeers it was classic. And this drunk woman standing behind us yelling crap right in Stipsy's ear! I thought about getting her another beer so she would be able to shut up! I haven't had time to listen to anything at home to work out what some of the tracks are that we didn't ID but we'll get them all!
I was surprised at some of them though, I didn't expect him to play something like 'Reloop - Fucking Society', and a few other harder ones also. Overall a totally mad night, has to be the best set I've experienced (not that I've heard many live anyway...) and good to see Stipsy again (thanks for the lift!!!!), and Renegade and lovely to meet you too Helen!

Yeah I'll second that. PvD was brilliant. A few of my mates who went were expecting to hear trance and nothing but trance, so they were kind of disappointed. Given the direction he's moved in over the last 6 months, I reckon we got a perfect set. The harder stuff really kicked in at about 5:20 (or so I remember), and he just ROCKED the place for the next hour.

'Tell Me Why' was a highlight (ohhhhh that build...), as was Dreamland and naturally, 'For an Angel'. Oh, yeah, and another highlight was when Paul came down the front to sign stuff, and I had the presence of mind to whip off my shirt at the right time I'm never going to wash that shirt again...

And one for you trainspotters: did he play Rank 1 - Awakening? I thought he did, but now I'm not so sure. Anyone got clearer recollection than I do?

I'm very jealous Now, I wasn't able to attend PvD due to travel arrangements I'm flying to Europe tomorrow (monday) i'm hoping to see yous again when I'm back for Astral Projection show in September.By then enjoy your selves for the upcoming Winter events. See Ya!!!!

WOW..... !!!AMAZING!!! i had the night of my life, PvD.... what can i say???? Spot on Mixing... track selection... Excellent... He rocked my world... thats 4 sure. Nice meeting DJ_Helen_K and that other TA guy, i forgot his name.. sorry.. PvD shit himself a bit from the fire works.. hehehe... i guess it just shows he's human too.. but an extraordinary one at that...

Im resizing the pics i took, and ill post them up shortly... Not all came out good but im posting the good ones up. I feel stuffed. i drove 200k's to play soccer today, and thats y im posting a bit late. Yes DJ_Helen_K, 2003 here we come..

Unbelievable night, what an experience... wish i had more room to dance with though, but was enough i guess. DJ_Helen_K was writing track list down with the other TA, if u could post it up soon, would be well appreciated... U GUYS ROCK... ALMOST AS MUCH AS PvD....
