i gotta say that was fucking sick!

the vibe inside that club was at a boiling point all friggen night. One of the most vocal crowds i've ever had the pleasure to be a part of. Armin did NOT disappoint. Simply superb from start to finish he had everyone jumpin!

did they actually close at 3 or did he play longer? when i saw him there 2 years ago as the first headliner they ever brought in i dont think i got outta the club till almost 4 or 430am if i remember correctly...

HAHA well, before even getting to the club, it was an interesting night!! (nice meeting you TRANCEEE) So we are on our way from toronto to niagara. Hit Stoney Creek and...wha? what happens? Car runs outta gas!!!! on the highway!!! so we putter off to the side...coast half way up a off ramp and the car is done. 3 of us get out of the car and start walking for gas....several minutes later we get to the top of the off ramp..shit this is going to be a far walk! look down the road...no gas station in site...so what do we do?? HITCH HIKE! hahah theres something i can check off my list of things to do. The moment our thumbs go up a car pulls over. Single guy driving picks up 3 guys walking on side of street, sketchbag? Nahh a great citizen! The guy was from there and took us to the nearest gas station...about a 15 min DRIVE away! holy fuck! through side streets and all..no way in hell we would have found one. Get there and grab a cannister then drives us back to a previous highway entrance and cruises down till we reach our car and are able to fill it up. Small world, told him we were going to see AVB and he knew the club, who AVB was, said how he used to be at Guv and zone every weekend! What great people in this scene I say! Oh, and when we got to the car...damn back seat door was jammed and wouldnt open...accidently i shut it on the seatbelt and after several body chucks, pulling on the handle with all our strength, and giving up and continuing on to niagara, turns out all it needed was a little Vince Love Tap and voila, door opens?! Fcuked up but it all worked out and we got to the club at 11:50!! (sadly no time to gamble...)


great night overall. the vibe was unmatched. Crazy energy all night long, not many pushers and shovers but a few over the top drunks.

Ugh but i was not feeling the first 1h45min. BOO. proggy trance? i dunno...he dropped maybe 2 or 3 songs that were alright, but overall i kept asking when is he going to get out of the intro and play some tunes! However, around 2:45am it was all up hill from there!!! Amazing second half, several encors. Love you more was great to hear again, its been a while. Burned with Desire was a great one Body of Conflict! that got me going

excellent audiance interaction, tonnes of jesus poses, and pretty happy to take pictures and sign autographs all night long. too bad some bouncers were ball busters. Every time I go to dragonfire, the dj finishes and the bouncers push 5 or so girls (the "I give BJs to see DJs" type), to the front of the door, let them take pictures with him, and then tries telling others to leave (obviously a few others got photos..but not many) oh and there were some pretty critical id checks, but at least everyone i knew got in Great party overall! got home at 530...left for work at 7....no sketch! (tired as a bitch though)

Very, very fun night. The crowd was going bonkers, really just eating up whatever Armin threw at them. And he threw quite a bit. It was a fairly 'typical' Armin set, but not that that is a bad thing. He definitely kept it slower, bulding up nicely until about 1:30, and then he just shifted into another gear, and stayed that way until the end. It was a very good night.

First time at Dragonfly. Very nice club. Ran into jchung, saw other TAs, but was in the back with my gf and friends for the majority of the night. More space, and ventilation was great. Would love to go back to the place when there's a house headliner.

just got home, definitely a sick night! blake jarrell played a solid opening set and there was tons of energy during armin's set. it was also my first time at dragonfly but i was impressed

Do you guys know what his first song was? Sounded like some type of Inpetto remix. It was really dark sounding.
