i don't have the actual cd, but i'm guessing it's not credited.
even their name "Quiet Village" is 'sampled' from Martin Denny's 1959 release http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Denny

When they played 'live' at francois k's deep space party a few weeks ago, they just mixed video clips from 70s exotic movies and porn and played their tracks back to back

i mean, i didnt mind them just playing the music, because the atmosphere was incredible and everyone was watching the video, but it would have been ridiculous had they been playing this stuff on the keys, etc
how it take two guys to do this, i have no clue...

Terrific, another act out there who think just because they're sound producers yet have no idea how to play the music they produce in an interesting manner live, they should just hit the road and expect people to eat up the fact that they can push the "play" button - with the gimmick of 70's movie clips, no less!
Revolutionary. It isn't as if there aren't dozens of other acts doing similarly boring things already....
Oh, wait.
And all without crediting any clearly lifted samples. Pure class.

If the Beastie Boys were capable of listing every single sample on Paul's Boutique, then everyone should be able to do the same.
If they didnt make the violins in Victoria's Secret, I've lost a lot respect

Well I'm glad someone cleared that up, to think this whole time I thought Matt Edwards had a beautiful black woman's voice...

Did you really just miss the point by that much?
I don't care if it's the hippest hipster on the planet making the most awesome underground music I've ever heard, credit your samples, and don't play live if you aren't doing actually doing anything.
