RIP Isaac Hayes
US singer-songwriter Isaac Hayes has died at the age of 65, local police said, adding that the cause of death was not immediately known.
Police were called to Mr Hayes' home in the early hours after his wife found him on the floor near a treadmill.
Mr Hayes was taken to hospital, where he later died, police said.
Mr Hayes is perhaps best known for the 1970s hit "Theme From Shaft", for which he won several awards. He also played a role in animated TV show South Park.
