PHOTOS: just decided to carry my camera this week..

mucking around: carrying a camera where i go
I dusted off my rebel XT and took it with me to work..

obviously, i didnt dust it off good enough, because there are a few spots on the pictures.
oh well, adds vintage effect.

that is the sun, from bel-air.. fog started coming into westwood today..

Wow, if you can edit out the dust, some of those would look real nice being framed and hung up on a wall.

A month ago or so after the series of storms hit the LA area and dumped TONS of snow on the mountains surrounding it and the air was still crystal clear (before the smog buiilt back up), I was dying for a nice SLR to take some landscape shots of LA with the mountains in the background. I have to say it was beautiful. Seeing such a chaotic city surrounded by the calming, compltely white mountains in the background. Michelle kept saying how she's never seen it look that amazing in her life..
