well I know this "problem"...you chat with a friend(femal) and you talk about the past weeks/months/years and you talk about things you made together and then she says somethin like...wow at that time I had a crush on you...

ok...1. it's easy to say something about the past...and it's even easier to say it over I-net...so don't think too much about it...
2. she has a boyfriend? now thats hard....(i killed myself 2 or 3 times when I heard that somebody had a crush on me )...try to forget it(for now)...and see what time brings you, nothings forever...

But keep in touch with her...


I know this is easy to say but to do it is very very hard: Don't think to much about it!!!

i agree, since its over the internet, i wouldnt take it very seriously
even when i went out with my bf it just didnt feel right to have serious talks over icq. partially b/c we all act differently on the internet, no matter what so we are not always 100% sincere or 100% serious, you know what i mean?

now a question for you endre, is she your online friend or a rl friend? (knowing that would help evaluate your situation better)

via internet chattin is very easy and sometimes you say things....in real life you would never say it to a girl. well, ask her if she wants to meet you or ask her if you could call her.

trust me m8, girls do that all the time just to drive us crazy, and the internet only makes it harder. they like to give you a stiffy and walk away. it's only proved by the pathetic net-kiss, and then leaving.

if she was serious, she'd have stayed to talk with you at the very least.

she is being a tease...that is not to say that she didn't mean what she wrote to you however. but the whole part about talking about her bf and then telling u she had a crush on you is childish. she brought up the bf to get a rise out of you and then left u with your mind going a million different directions...i would just act very aloof with her from now on and see what happens. if she starts to really show interest (and still w/ the other guy) u should bring up the fact that she has a boyfriend and that it appears she is playing games...put her on the spot and see what she says.


and i completely disagree with you people saying that everyone acts TOTALLY different on the internet. i dont...i mean yes, im sure lots of us on here aren't as outspoken and funny in person (as i have read a lot of TA's are shy in real life), but i think it's just easier to say things on the internet than in rl. that doesn't mean we wouldn't say those same things in rl...just maybe in a different way or after lots of hesitation...
