Honestly, it was initially the old mp3.com.

Stuff like:

t r a n c e [] c o n t r o l- Crystal Dreams
t r a n c e [] c o n t r o l- Deep Vibrations
t r a n c e [] c o n t r o l- Gothenburg Sound
Dynamic - Destination Skyline
Lightworks - Fields of Space
Mckey Traxx - All Systems Go
Mckey Traxx - Unity of Earth
Mind Reflection - Turn
Toby Emerson - Hydrosphere
Toby Emerson - Raindrops

from there, I discovered TA and started downloading tracks from the Amateur Producer's forum (Echano, Al Azar, etc.), and THEN discovered the big names (Tiesto, PvD, etc.)

Honestly, I still think that the amateur stuff was typically better. I don't listen to much trance anymore, but the amateur stuff I do hear these days rarely impresses me.

Edit: To add to that -

Toby Emerson - Blue Star, Underwater, Liquify, etc.

I was a member of his fan forums for a long time, that's what got me into trance. I produced for a little while during my stay there, all that amateur stuff from there is going to be on my mix in May
