Roxy is a prety big club. During the week it is used as a Roller skateing wrink. I went there once for there grand reopening a few months ago. The system sucked, music blew, but the club was decentlly set up. From what i am heering there system is phazon now... but there set up with lights and decorations is still subpar.
OK, I went to Roxy for their grand reopening last week. It is smaller than exit because there is really just the main floor and that is it. But the main dance floor is huge. There is a stage right in front of the dj booth that puts you so close to the dj, but i could see them setting PVD up on the stage.
they just installed phazon, that is why i went last week. the sound quality was decent but the bass wasn't loud enough and the sound quality varied a lot depending where you stand. regardless, the sound is better than exit's.
the crowd is pretty awful (KTU sponsored the party) but PVD will attract his own ppl, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. i really liked the set-up of this club a lot and i think it has great potential for PVD. i am glad it is there and not exit. but it could be another nightmare if it gets to crowded so let's hope that the management of Roxy are not greedy bastards like at exit.

It is stated as Ladies 18+ Fellaz 21+ but I have never had a hard time getting in there. Yes PVD will attract his own crowd and the phazon is very nice but its not the same as TWILO. I think phazon is only utilized to its maximum capacity in smaller more enclosed clubs like Twilo and Arc. Roxy is a bit big for phazon unless they plan to bump it like Twilo. damn how many times have i mentioned twilo in this post? as you clearly see i miss my home.

The Roxy crowd is young and , like butteryfly said, very KTUish. I went almost every week until the closed shop for the Phazon installation.
When I went back for the grand reopening, something just didn't seem right. I think that party is gonna take a very commercial turn
Like she said,Paul will attract his own crowd;hopefully they will only sell a certain amount of tickets to the event with no admission at the door. The club is too small otherwise.
The Roxy website sucks, it looks like an 8th grade HTML student designed it
