I don't think that Bjork is the artist to go for if you're into trance. She has co-operated with Matmos,Herbert and Thomas Knak aka Opiate on her latest album, but these artists have more of a experimental/techno style. But hey,if you like this, then go for it.It's still great music, and virtually everything that Matthew Herbert has his hands on turns into gold.
But if you like progressive, you HAVE to check out the Brancaccio & Aisher-remix of "All Is Full Of Love".She provides some mindblowing vocals on this remix.Beautiful tune.(Oh,and PM me if you find a full rip btw )

I would love to hear that, I've loved the original for years but have never heard that one your talking about.

you're probably talking about :
D.U.G. - The Anchor Song
it has 2 mixes, mix 1 is the better mix
picked up this white label a few weeks ago. the vocals work really well. don't know any other tracks with her though... |
Really? Damn, if you can, you think you may be able to rip it? I would also like to listen to this one as well.
| quote: | | Also there is a David Morales Remix of "Big Time Sensuality", a Underworld remix of "Human Behaviour", Darren Emerson mix of "I miss you", and others. |
Damn, didnt know this either.
The thing is I've alwayz loved her style and alwayz wondered how her vocals would sound with a well thought out quality dance tune, and then I did. So I'll be checking these out.

If you like this kind of shit, check out DJ Fire's latest called 'Jetlag.' It has that haunting female vocal sample, very similiar to his 'Ulan Bator' track from a few months ago. DJ Fire is 1/2 of Fire & Ice, but you probably already know this. I'm just giving my boy Jurgen his props. Peace.

"under the water"? that's a prog-house tune from Brother Brown, featuring Frank'ee. it was released in 1999 under the Yoshitoshi label. it goes like this...
"i can't breath here anymore.
it's been like that for a while.
everything seems strange to me.
i feel like a newborn child.
and i know i don't belong down here,
i guess it's always been the same.
i wish i wouldn't have to fear.
under the water, under the water,
you, you left me drowning.
under the water, under the water,
you, you left me drowning."
