to be honest i've been in a sick of 4/4 music mood as of late (hence no recent sets), so maybe listening to something out of my "comfort zone" is what i need to get interested again. You should know i give lots of stuff a try around here.
edit: not bad
(once again this is not my usual so bear with me and keep it in mind) I liked the atmosphere for the first 25 minutes. Nothing too in your face, and it made for great background music to do some work too. This is the part i liked the most of the set, as you could get lost in the music and enjoy without having to pay too much attention.
The vocal cut at 26 was probably the track i liked the least of the set, but i understand your using it to kick up the energy a notch. This kind of vocal is not my thing, but it did work to pick up the pace at least. I might not be a big fan of this music, but you did succeed at making a vintage sounding set out of new, so good job on that. The mixing was good, the only other slight complaint was that i would have liked you to finish more with an "epic" bang that left you wanting more, imo the last track did not do this. Either way , well done.

Thanks a lot for the honest feedback. The vocal track is Go That Deep by Nu Frequency, which has that old school vocal style that reminded me of old Renaissance tracks. This type of vocal always seems to divide everyone's opinion.
As for the ending, it's quite ironic that you pointed this out, because I commented on Domesticated's last progressive house mix that I like sets to finish on a dramatic flourish. Normally I would have pulled out an epic house weapon to finish this kind of set off, but I wanted to use only new material and I didn't have a suitable track, so I went for a closing sequence that wound down to a calm finish. I wanted to drop System by Zircon, which is an epic breaks track from last year, but I'd already used it in my Spaced mix.
Anyway, thanks a lot for listening and for the rapid and thoughtful feedback.
