Any, really. Just depends on how high you wanna spec and how much you wanna spend. I have experience with Latitudes, mostly (which is the business equivalent of the Inspiron), and they served me well for a few years, playing out with Traktor. I produce on a dedicated desktop machine, though... but the specs aren't terribly crazy on it anyway.
Mainly, get a halfway decent machine and pair it with a decent audio interface and ASIO drivers for the production aspect, and you're golden. People spend too much time worrying about this, when most of the issues people have are software-based in the first place.
